These illustrations were made for schoolbooks from different publishing houses, such as Aique, Tinta Fresca, Edelvives and Dale! Training Program, Argentina.
They were for poetry chapters, songs and short tales.
I used acrylic paints, sgraffito, digital painting and mixed media.
In some of them I was allowed to apply full color backgrounds behind the texts, and in others I was asked to leave a white space. I always work with the pdf design sample to adjust my drawings to the available space and format.

The text I illustrated for Dale! was a free version of “Jack and the Magic Beans”, replacing the main character with Juanito Laguna, a famous character of Antonio Berni´s pictures. I decided to make them with sgraffito, to emulate Berni´s xylography.
